Prospect Hill Orchards has been in the Pick Your Own fruit, also known as U-Pick, business for over 15 years. A courteous, helpful staff of family and friends make you feel "at home" on our farm. The orchard will be open for cherry picking: • Friday, June 27 • Saturday, June 28 • Sunday, June 29 • • Friday, July 4 • Saturday, July 5 We will be not open on Sunday, July 6, 2008. The Orchard is open fron 9am until 4pm. Please use 340 Milton Turnpike, Milton NY for directions to the cherry picking parking lot. There will be a parking fee of $5 per car. Over 12 acres of cherries provide plenty for everyone! With a wagon ride to the orchard, you can escape from the summertime sun while picnicking in the shade of the cherry branches. Sweet Cherries are the most popular fruit at Prospect Hill Orchards. We grow both dark red and white cherries.
Dark Cherries Varieties of dark cherries include Hedelfingin, Ulster, Summit, Schmidt, and Hudson.	White Cherries The variety of our white cherries are Rainier and Emperor Francis.
Tart Cherries Tart Cherries are excellent for pies and preserves. The new dark tart cherries are high in sugar and can be enjoyed fresh, too. The varieties of tart cherries are Balaton, Danube, and Montmorency.
