Prospect Hill Orchards will continue to be at New York City Greenmarkets this year.
Prospect Hill Orchards has been participating in Grow NYC’s Greenmarket program for over 20 years. We grow and sell apples, pears, peaches, cherries, apricots, plums, donut peaches and many berries. Our farm kitchen creates great baked goods like homemade cookies, healthy muffins, and delicious fruit pies. Our jams are so flavorful because we use our own fruit and make them in small batches! We have also expanded into making our own granola and fresh pressed cider and cider donuts are always a favorite!

About Grow NYC
“GrowNYC is a hands-on non-profit which improves New York City’s quality of life through environmental programs that transform communities block by block and empower all New Yorkers to secure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
GrowNYC was originally created in 1970 as the Council on the Environment of New York City. Born out of the spirit of the first Earth Day, the Council was initially a policy-based organization, writing comprehensive reports about quality of life issues like air quality, traffic, and noise. “ – From www.grownyc.org
Greenmarket is a program of the Council on the Environment of New York City. In peak season, Greenmarket operates 38 weekly open air farmer markets in 28 locations. It is the largest farmers market program in the country.
